🌱 Student Growers — See Us in Person! 🌱
Interested in growing produce that could be purchased by Trojan’s Table and served in school meals across our district? We’d love to talk with you!
We will be set up at the Wellness in Action Night at Barren County Middle School on March 17th from 4:00–7:00 PM. Stop by our table to learn more about how the program works, the impact student-grown produce can have on our school meals, and how you can get involved.
We’ll be there to answer questions, discuss produce-growing ideas, and help students begin developing a plan for produce that could be grown and purchased by Trojan’s Table.
Together, we’re growing the future of school nutrition right here at home. 💛🥗🌾
📧 Students interested in participating can also contact Dr. Andy Joe Moore at andy.moore@barren.kyschools.us to get started.

Tomorrow, Friday, March 6, several Barren County Schools campuses will be participating in scheduled safety training in partnership with the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
Because of this training, you may notice an increased law enforcement presence at some school locations during the day. This is a planned training exercise, and there is no cause for concern. Tomorrow is a contract day, so school is not in session for students.
We are grateful for the strong partnership we share with our local law enforcement agencies as we work together to keep our schools safe and prepared.
